Moondog Pub & Grub, located in the heart of Chamblee at 5077 Peachtree Road, is locally owned and deeply rooted in the community. It is known for its satisfying grub, cold drinks, open-air “garage” doors, and a love for dogs. “Almost famous” for its cheese curds, fried pickles, burgers, and wings, it offers a full menu of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, entrees, and more, including an extensive kids’ menu, vegetarian, and pescatarian options. Let’s not forget to mention the 20 taps of craft beer, specialty cocktails, THC products, and a full bar. Dogs are welcome on the enclosed heated patio, and there are even menu items for the pups. There is a “puppy pound” with toys and a large wall chalkboard in the main room for children. There is always something happening and a fun vibe, whether it be a game on one of the seven televisions, trivia, music bingo, live music, playing Golden Tee, or a dog adoption event. The side dining room for adults only also serves as an event space.
